Blending value, experience and emotion.

Design Thinking brings Leaders a simpler, easier way to be innovative and establish value.

Public Sector, Not-for-Profit or Commercial Industries we all face challenges — big and small.
Using workshops we partner as one to create innovative outcomes to explore ideation value and establish the path to realisation.

Human-centric means creative problem-solving focusing on users, residents/citizens, patients, or customers [i.e. people!].

Globally or locally together we wield great power. Whether our ‘Design Challenge’ is making a new or improved service, process, product, or anything else if we take a step back and think things will be clearer.

For a better tomorrow divergent and convergent thinking stimulates
iterative improvement over time.

Helping with Environment, Social and Governance [ESG] matters to deliver a positive impact that benefits us all.
Today Business Leaders place a growing emphasis on ESG matters alongside core business values and profit or margin.
Our outcome focused activities help organisations to bring about culture change and deliver a positive impact that can benefit us all.
Who am I?
Design for life.
I am a visual learner and communicator. A sketcher, not the best artist in the world perhaps, but never-the-less, I enjoy life better with a pencil, Sharpie or paintbrush in my hand.
I like helping to tell a story and visuals are a great way to depict an experience or adventure.
Keeping to some simple rules we can maximise the impact of our epic designs, telling short stories that will live in the mind, and bring a situation to life, capturing something for discussion.
Worklife balance.
For me, experiences are better together so investing in my time away from the office, virtual or otherwise is important. Quality time with family, furry companions, and friends is time well spent.
Travelling, attending events, exploring new things, or just hanging out (away from the laptop) no matter where on the planet makes a difference. Whether locally in the beautiful Cotswolds to to beaches, cities, deserts and mountains further afield. Time to relax is vital.
Challenging myself.
I enjoy exploring and challenging myself on a regular basis – be that my core knowledge, core emotional wellbeing - investigating the upper left and upper right brain experiences, it is just how I tick.
I try to take on challenges that stretch me and teach me something. Recent examples include a hard landscaping overhaul with my son, investing in a non-running Vespa scooter and bringing it back into service or learning a new discipline like Paramotoring.
In any challenge I embrace I am trying to help make myself a better and more authentic individual.
Services.
Think Differently.
Achieving a different outcome requires different actions, inputs, and behaviours.
Think Differently uses Design Thinking, Value Management and User Journey Experience concepts alongside expert facilitation to help clients get to the heart of problems and locate solutions.
Think Differently is offered for varying durations depending on the challenge and context.
Launch Differently.
Achieving a successful change outcome requires a clear vision and communication plan, coupled with conviction and empathy.
Launch Differently gets behind the impact(s) of change. With different 'Value Lenses' we explore the impact on personas such as: end-users, business leaders, customers, or residents/citizens, and even on our planet [ESG].

Launch Differently is offered for varying durations depending on the complexity and context.

Journey Differently.
Achieving successful Cloud Digital Transformation requires a well considered strategy. Navigating from the current landscape, piloting around potential barriers, harnessing 'boosters' to reach the targeted future state.
Journey Differently is a collaborative exploration, tailored to suit each client's situation, combining aspects from 'Think Differently' and 'Launch Differently' unifying the complete story behind the digital transformation.
Journey Differently is a relationship. Durations are typically longer and more flexible in design and execution.
SERVICE
Methods.
Sense
centric.
Together listening, looking, hearing, even tasting, we explore with Design Thinking Human Centric feelings.
Using various techniques to explore the drivers and influences on our given context.
We leverage my ‘menu’ of different exploration techniques to help learn more about the need or problem, the personas involved, the future vision sought.
Using facilitation skills we will blend both provocative and pragmatic concepts across the journey to ensure our research is valuable and complete at every step.
Interpret
Findings.
In partnership we will spend time exploring and synthesising the valuable research we have collated as a team.
We will discuss and evaluate the findings as we read into the data. Considering the impact on people, systems and external factors amongst many.
It is vital that before moving into ‘solution and ideation mode(s)’ stages that we properly evaluate our progress.
This contemplation, discussion and thinking phase is, put simply, imperative and essential.
Make
new.
Creation is about star gazing. Daring to be different (or new), challenging the status quo - brainstorming solutions to our agreed Design Challenge.
Creating ideas that keep our personas and context clearly in focus so we don't lose the original rationale.
Ideation is designed to stimulate discussion; it will never be pixel-perfect immediately. Continual iteration and feedback strengthens the proposal.
Developing our soft skills to better pitch, with passion, the benefit(s) our new vision brings. Creating is where thoughts and dreams become a reality.
